the Roadie Family Foundation

Providing financial assistance to the backbone of the music industry.

Our Mission

The Roadie Family Foundation is a registered 501(c )(3) non-profit financial relief program formed to help the thousands of yearly traveling concert tour employees from the unseen traveling crew support team to the drivers that move them. While on tour, when a road crew member is called home for unexpected emergencies, they are often left to bear the financial burdens of getting their replacement crew member on top of having to cover all of their own personal expenses. The roadies dip into their purses to cover pay for flights, travel, meals, and hotel stays, all while losing their wages. The RFF changes that by taking away these huge financial aspects that are not generally covered by the industry. Through this nonprofit, monies are generated by those who work for the music tours, those who support them, and the general music-loving public. These funds garnered aim to help financially assist the road crew members so that they can more easily leave and rejoin the tours in an already difficult situation in their personal lives.
